GUY LOYER
It is with heavy hearts the family wishes to announce the passing of Guy, who passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 19, 2023 at the Niverville Heritage Life Personal Care Home. Guy will be lovingly remembered by his son Joe (Christine Dubois); his daughter Julie Karatchuk (Daryl); his grandchildren, Sérik (Angela), Anika, and Jean-Luc; his step-grandchildren, Miranda, Micheala (Jordan), and Ryann; and great-grandchildren, Bentlee and Luuk; his sisters, Denise and Claire; as well as loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his love of family, Guy had a special place in her heart for the cabin in Lac Du Bonnet. You could find him fishing, golfing, touring the camp, or pestering one of his neighbors. Guy was an entertainer at heart. He loved to make people laugh and could always be counted on for a funny story or joke. He had a passion for music and was part of the renowned local group, ‘Les Quatre Guys’.
The family wishes to thank all the staff from the Niverville Heritage Life Personal Care Home for the wonderful love and care they gave Dad in his final years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Guy’s honor to Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
