Sadly, we announce the passing of Merle Pynoo, beloved wife of Arthur (Art) Pynoo, much loved mother of her four children, Mitchell, who predeceased her, Shannon (Bill), Holly (Bud), and Stuart (Liz), several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with two surviving brothers, Barry McFarlane and Brian McFarlane. Merle was also stepmother to her husband's four children, Carol (Barry), Dawn (Brian), Art (Jennifer), and Mike (Nola).
Merle had great love for all. She will be watching from above and smiling down upon each of her family members and dear friends. One quote she was especially fond of was "May the sun shine warmly upon your shoulders and may peace reign in your heart", let it be so...
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

Merle was a wonderful leader at CIBC where I first met her. She was dedicated to her work and staff. I didn't know her personally but knew her as friendly and patient leader. Such a great smile. - Posted by: Francine Soko (Work relationship) on: Aug 05, 2023
