EMILY CHERYL ANNE STEVENS
As of July 30, 2023 our lives will forever be changed by the loss of our beloved daughter, sister, friend, the absolute light of our lives, in a tragic accident Emily passed alongside her loving boyfriend Jearan.
Emily leaves behind her mother Crystal, father Vern, big sister Amber (Chad), big brother Nathan, aunt Shannon (Mark) Nawolski, aunt Dana (Martyn) Nawolski, uncle Vince Stevens, uncle Devlin (Pat) Stevens, uncle Barry (Hattie) Nawolski, uncle Jason (Carrie Dvernychuk) Heffer, cousins Claira, Camille, and Devin Heffer, cousin Chantel Stevens, cousin Samantha (Pope) Stevens, cousins, Alexander and Anna Nawolski, grandparents, Janet and William Stevens, grandparents, Richard (Terry) Nawolski, grandmother Beth (Donald), aunt Rhonda (Darren Waskul) Mills, aunt Cheryl Huckerby, uncle Cameron Neufeld, bonus little sister Rebecca (Tammy and Kash), also her bonus big sister Stephanie Messerli. Emily will be forever missed by her best friends, Abby Cnudde and Kaylee Laurie, and all other friends and extended family. Emily will be so deeply missed by her little "boyfriend" Sterling Proutt; Emily showed Sterling what true love should look like, and he will take that love with him as he grows into a young man and will cherish the memories they had together.
Emily touched the lives of so many during her short time; she played an active part in the community, she curled at the Tyndall curling club starting at the young age of five and took every opportunity to help Ron with the ice and any event she could get her hands on. Emily loved her outdoor activities, snowmobile racing with her sister, fishing with her father, camping with her mother and brother, and spending time at the pits with her friends. From a young age if you were ever looking for her, you could always find her outside!
Emily had such a contagious laugh that could light up any room. She always knew how to make you laugh when you needed it. If you ever needed a friend, you could always count on her.
Emily had the biggest heart, she always made sure no one was ever left out, she always was willing to help, and cared for everyone so immensely. Anyone that knew 'Em, knew she was an animal lover, rather it be cats, dogs, even farm animals, if you’d let her - she would have taken in all homeless animals she came across. Her heart was always in the right place.
We would like to thank the community for the support during this very difficult time. If there are any memories, pictures, and videos you’d like to share with our family and/or present at Emily’s Celebration of Life, please send them to Emilystevensmemorial@gmail.com

I will miss seeing that little devilish smile and the angel in her eyes and that heart of gold that would do anything for anyone, but first would have to make a fuss about it, lol, such a sweetheart and will leave a huge hole for all that came into contact with here. Her Great grandmother would be devastated at the loss, but will no doubt be there waiting for here. Love you always Emily - Posted by: Richard Nawolski (Grandfather) on: Aug 15, 2023
