TINA (KLASSEN) DOERKSEN
July 15, 1927 - August 1, 2023

Katharina (Tina) Doerksen née Klassen, was born on July 15, 1927. She died peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in her husband's arms at the age of 96.
Tina and Ike were married on April 22, 1946, and celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary just over three months ago.
Tina is survived by her husband, Isaac, her children Ron (Judy), Larry (Sandra), Howard (Frieda), Linda (Lionel); as well as 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
Tina is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and she was longing to go. Not only was she longing to go but she said she was excited to go and her prayer was that all her children and grandchildren and their families would meet her in heaven one day.
We extend a huge thank you to Dr. Carey Isaac and the staff of Donwood PCH for the wonderful care they gave Mom and for showing such love and support to both Mom and Dad…. You are much appreciated.
Yes, we mourn but not as those who have no hope. Our hope is in our Savior Jesus Christ and we know we will meet Mom in Heaven one day.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
