EILEEN E. GRAHAM

Sadly, the family of Eileen Elizabeth Graham (nee Meredith) announce her unexpected passing on August 6th, 2023.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William Graham in 2015; her son, Alan Graham in 1996; and two sisters, Joan Kelley of Edmonton and Louise Oldford of Winnipeg.

Left to mourn are her sons, Jeff Graham of Wainwright, AB; Greg Graham of Ardath, SK; sisters Jean Greer of Meductic, NB, Doreen Tucker of Halifax, NS, Laurel Lister of Fredericton, NB; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and many, many cherished friends.

After travelling through Europe with her husband and boys in the 1960s with the R.C.A.F., the family returned to Canada in 1969 and moved five times to five provinces, until finally settling down in Winnipeg. While her husband finished off his military career, Eileen worked at Sears in Polo Park for 22 years.

She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, sense of humour and her incredible skill in the kitchen.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place with a formal service to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donation to an animal rescue shelter can be made in her memory.

Grief never ends…but it changes

It’s a passage, not a place to stay.

Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor

a lack of faith. It is the price of love!!
