Suddenly, but peacefully, Sonia passed away August 11, 2023 at the age of 87.
Sonia was predeceased by her husband Gerald in 2002 and eldest son Kevin in 2013. Left to mourn her is her son Ryan (Kristen); daughter Donna; daughter-in-law Elaine; grandchildren, Justin, Karli, Bryan, Colton and Matthew; one great-granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sonia was a wonderful mother who devoted her life to her children and was always willing to help those around her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards or just talking. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. You are now at peace and will forever be in our hearts.
Cremation and a private family ceremony has already taken place.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania Nursing Home for their compassion, care and kindness.
