BECKY MENDELSOHN

December 7, 1969 – August 12, 2023


Becky Mendelsohn, 53, of Ste-Geneviève, MB, passed away suddenly, after a lengthy period of being unwell, at home with loved ones, on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

She is survived by her beloved husband Phil; their daughter Emily; sons, Steve and August; mother Arlene Gillett; brother Charles Gillett and his wife Amy; her large extended family as well as Phil's.

She was predeceased by her dear father Garth Gillett.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Becky was a proud dual citizen of Canada and the US. She and Phil were married for 26 years. She loved their farm, cows, chickens, dogs and animals. Among her many interests were flora, berry picking, gardening, canning, fireflies, the Aurora, pottery and above all, laughter.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this year at her farm, weather permitting. Details are to be announced later. Please contact phil@rephil.org to be notified.
