Shirley was a wonderful person who took great care of me while I lived with her family in Gaborone Botswana in the early eighties. She took care of many of my bike related injuries and provided me with a loving home. - Posted by: Taavi McMahon (Boarder in Botswana) on: Jan 04, 2025

For reasons known to you I did not have the privilege of knowing the family growing up. I met Bruce when we were both at River Heights Junior High but did not know we were cousins. I finally met Leonard and Shirley through Michael Pinx many years later. I'm sorry that I did not have the opportunity of getting to know the family like I should have. Shirley sounds like a most remarkable woman. A woman of valor, Please accept my deepest condolences and may her memory be a blessing. If any of you are in South Carolina call me or email me and I would love to get to know you. - Posted by: Michael Bookbinder (Cousin to Leonard) on: Aug 27, 2023
