It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Alda Lorraine Sigvaldason on August 19, 2023, at home in Beausejour with her daughter Laura by her side.
The beloved wife of the late Johannes Einar, Alda grew up in Riverton and raised her family in Lockport. She is survived by her son Dwain, and daughters Laura and Francine (Rick). Also left to cherish the memory of their Amma are her grandchildren Daanis, Michael, Laurissa, Brittany, and Brooke. Langamma to Brodi, Kolten, Kallen, Daitan, and Elisabeth. Alda will also be missed by her sisters Wilma, Kristine, and Norma, nieces, nephews, friends and Cecil.
Alda was a homemaker who took great pride in her Sunday dinners. Around her table many memories were made, laughs were had, and meals were shared.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be a graveside service at a later date.
