  • "Remember-Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. " - Janet Cruse I am incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to know Janet Cruse. She was a true source of inspiration to me, not just as an artist but as someone who fearlessly embraced life's challenges and continually pushed the boundaries of what was possible. My time with Janet began back in 2015 when I began tutoring her in digital 3D modeling. Over several years, I had the privilege of visiting her workshop, witnessing her impressive progress in computer skills and digital sculpting. She even ventured into 3D printing and animation – it was amazing to see her growth. As time went on, Janet became more independent in her 3D pursuits, but our bond remained. Through email, studio visits or lunches we shared conversations about art and life. Those years of friendship are something I will always hold dear. Janet was a steadfast supporter of my dreams, and her wisdom and wit enriched my understanding of art and life in countless ways. I hope to channel her strength and courage in my own life. And as I grow older, I hope to foster the same curiosity, openness and determination that she embodied. Should I maintain even a fraction of this, I will know I’ve lived a fulfilling life. Janet, you were an incredible friend, and your absence is deeply felt. You are cherished and dearly missed. - Posted by: Sara Wilde (Friend) on: Sep 20, 2023
