It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Jenny Sanderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend, on September 3, 2023, at the Grace Hospital. She was 78 years old.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband Maurice; children: Tina (Andrew); Karen (Daniel), grandchildren, Mathew and Mikayla; Norma-Anne (Jamie), granddaughter Jessica (Tim); and Laura (Ray). She was predeceased by son Maurice Jr. who is survived by his sons, Jordan (Keeley); and Tyler (Mia), great-granddaughter Kaliyah and Lorena.
Jenny was born April 8, 1945, in Eriksdale, Manitoba. She was married for 62 years to Maurice and had five children. She had a career in childcare which began over 40 years ago and had been the Executive Director at Four Feathers Inc since 1996. She received many awards and accolades throughout her longstanding career. Many knew her as a great person to talk with, due to her understanding nature, kindness, and strength. Jenny always enjoyed a good conversation and a few laughs over a cup of coffee. Our hearts are broken, she will be truly missed.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Grace Hospital for their kind support and care towards Jenny.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be sent to Four Feathers Inc., or towards your favourite charity.
