• Eugene and I met at a dance in Oak River many years ago and our paths continued to cross over the years. I felt very blessed to have reconnected and stayed connected with him over the past 6 years. I was so sad to hear of his passing when I got the news this morning and I will miss him terribly. My love and condolences to you, Irene and the rest of your family and friends. • When I moved to Strathclair almost six years ago now. Eugene was one of the first people to carry on a conversation with me around the fire pit on main Street at the winter fair here in strathclair. He made me feel welcome.
