EARLE WALTER (WALLY) SCHAU

December 21, 1942 - September 16, 2023

Wally, beloved husband of Ruth, passed away peacefully at age 80 at Grace Hospital surrounded by his wife Ruth, son Walter and daughter Jennifer.
He will be lovingly missed by Ruth (his wife of 45 years); son Walter (Lisa); daughter Jennifer (Justin) and grandsons, Damon and Logan; two brothers and four sisters. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa.
Wally was predeceased by his mother Florence; father Fred; brothers, Larry and Harold and sister Joan.
The family would like to extend their very special thanks to Dr. P.G. Mehta for his excellent care and compassion in keeping Wally with us for so many precious years. Thank you to Brenda for being so understanding. Thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospital ICU, especially Nikol who was supporting Wally and our family as he passed away peacefully.
As per Wally’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. Please keep him in your prayers. He had a deep Christian faith and we know he is at peace.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in his memory to The Winnipeg Humane Society or the Grace Hospital Foundation.
