LILLIAN MARGARET PAGE
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister and Umi, Lillian Margaret Page (nee Church) on September 19, 2023.
Lillian leaves to mourn, her sons, Michael (Joanne) and Tod; grandchildren, Mitchell (Kellie), Nichole and Gordon (Cassidy); great-grandchildren, Alexa and Isaac; as well as many loved ones and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Page; her parents, Syd and Mary; and her daughter, Shelley.
Lillian was born on September 25, 1938 in Winnipeg, MB. They raised their family in Winnipeg, with the exception of a brief move to Edmonton lasting three years. She loved fashion and the hair industry, opening her own salon in North Kildonan named after her beloved daughter Shelley Lynn. Eventually, they retired to Gimli, where Lillian found joy in golfing, volunteering at the New Horizon, and cherishing moments with her friends and beloved grandchildren.
The family would like to convey heartfelt thanks for the excellent, caring staff at Extendicare Heritage Lodge Long-Term Care Home.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held in Gimli, MB.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinsons Society Manitoba is requested
Condolences may be left on her tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

My deepest condolences to Lil's family. My husband Ron (deceased) and I were friends of Gord and Lil's in Gimli. She and I golfed together and attended many events at New Horizons. Ron would stop at Page's Book Store to chat so often. Lil was a gracious and lovely lady. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Eva Haddad (Friend) on: Sep 23, 2023
