KERRY MERLYN DIXON


Passed away on September 23, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 73.

Cherished husband to Valerie with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Loving father to Amber Dixon (Kyle Pegoski), Amanda (Riley) Wotton and Jorden (Carley) Dixon. Proud Papa to Luke, Nolan and Brady Pegoski; Andy, Cohen and Maggie Wotton; Sonny and baby-on-the-way, Dixon.

Born September 25, 1949 to John and Joan Dixon, he was one of nine siblings. He grew up in the Roblin area, but spent his adult life in Brandon. Kerry worked at many places, but his true passion was carpentry and cabinetry. He was a skilled craftsman, and his business Dixon Renovations served the Brandon area for almost 40 years. Kerry will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, Valerie’s family, and many friends he made throughout the years.

A private graveside service will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.

Donations in memory of Kerry may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5 or to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, “Westman Cancer Centre,” 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3.
