Peacefully on October 3, 2023, Walter passed away at Health Sciences Centre after a lengthy battle with a kidney disease.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 43 years Jean; children, Jason (Laura), Sheryl (Greg) and Kyla (Doug); grandchildren, Kelson (Tammy), Kylee (Nick), Kaden, Tiana, Noah, and Tavyn; as well as great-grandson Theo.
As per Walter's wishes cremation has taken place, and a private service and burial to follow.

Our Deep Sympathies to Jean and her Family I got to know Walter and the Sulyma Bros when I was working at the Gimli Cafe (Chinese Restaurant) in 1965 to 1968 now the Chicken Chef Restaurant.
