CAROL BRANDT

(nee ELLIOT)

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mom Carol on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the age of 84 years at Riverview Health Centre, with her family at her side.

She is survived by her son Jamie, her daughter Angela and son-in-law Luis.

She was predeceased by her husband Abe on September 17, 2006.

Mom lived in her house in Windsor Park for most of her life and enjoyed her time there. She loved working in her big garden and giving fresh veggies to her neighbours. She later moved to her apartment that she loved with the beautiful view and all her new friends she met there. Mom had a strong love for family and friends. She loved helping other people. Mom was a compassionate and loving soul, often putting other's needs before her own. She will always be loved and remembered by those who knew her.

Respecting Mom's wishes, there will be no formal service.

We Miss You Mom

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. We think of you in silence and often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart.

  • Carol and I were neiighbours on Crestwood for many years until I moved to Kenora. She was a wonderful neighbour. She offered me her home to stay when I came to Winnipeg. We had many dinners and casino trips. I moved back to Winnipeg in 2021 and moved into the same apartment complex so we could easily visit each other. Truly a great friend and will certainly be missed. Sandy - Posted by: Sandy Anderson (Good friend) on: Oct 09, 2023
