FRANCES JOAN PELLETIER
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Fran, on October 8th at the age of 92.
In 2016, after 65 years of marriage, Mom said a final goodbye to our dad, Ken. She was also predeceased by her father, Albert Edward Clifton; her mother, Jane Orange Kirkland; siblings, Ted, Dorothy and Gordon and her beloved fur babies.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Sharon (David), Brenda (JL), Karen (Gerry) and Nancy; seven grandchildren, Cory (Nicole), Ryan (Cherrelyn), Aaron (Cindy), Jayme (Cory), Lyndsey, Holly (Des), Alycia (Matt) and twelve great-grandchildren, Toni, Cassidy, Alex, Ben, Jenna, Logan, Braden, Kaysen, Amaya, Phoenix, Ayva and Lochlan as well as many other special family members.
Mom was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in East Kildonan before marrying Dad and settling in Pine Falls, Manitoba where they lived until their retirement to Petersfield in 1986.
Mom was very proud of her family and loved spending time with us all, especially at Christmas. Mom would be too excited to sleep and would always be waiting for us to wake up.
Mom loved to travel and enjoyed trips with Dad to Europe and Australia as well as to Texas each winter. As a family we went on many wonderful camping trips throughout Canada and the USA.
Mom loved a game of cards, to go to the casino and to play bingo. She was an excellent knitter and made many sweaters, slippers and mittens and her cabbage rolls, perogies, dill pickles, doughnuts, shortbread and butter tarts were the best.
A heartfelt thank you to our family and friends for their love and support and to all the staff who cared for Mom at Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk.
In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
