LINDA FERNIUK
It is with profound sadness that we announce the relatively peaceful passing of Linda Ferniuk, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73 years old.
Linda loved life, nature, the lake, literature, music, animals and her friends and family.
She is survived by her mother Josie and brothers, Garry, Ron and Wayne and their families. She also leaves behind many great friends and acquaintances, including family friend Colleen in Winnipeg Beach where she lived for many years.
Sincere thanks to those who helped care for and support Linda during her final earthly months.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
A private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

I was so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a good friend of my brother Jim. In 2014, Linda gave me what has become one of my favourite Christmas cards. It’s called “Winter in the Country” by Currier and Ives. The card was accompanied by an Angel “to hang above your door for protection,” said Linda. We had such a beautiful visit that Christmas. Linda was generous, intelligent, interesting and fun. My deepest sympathy Josie, Garry, Ron and Wayne; your first Christmas without your beloved daughter and sister. Know that Linda is remembered with love. - Posted by: Sara Mosher (Friend) on: Dec 18, 2023
