Bob was the definition of a gentleman. He was a role model for his children, a best friend, and the solid foundation of his family. Bob was never shy to offer help to his friends and family, and was always there when you needed him, even if you didn’t know you needed his help yet.

In 1967 at the age of 21, he made the move to Canada where he ended up in Winnipeg, Manitoba landing a job as a mechanic with Air Canada. Shortly after, he was transferred to Toronto, Ontario where he then sent for Alexis, his soul mate, to come join him. They married in Brampton, Ontario March 1, 1969, starting their life together. In November 1974 they welcomed their first son Michael to the world, and then in April 1978, their second son Kevin.
In 1979 they moved back to Winnipeg and set down their roots. Over the next 47 years they lived happily and with so much love. Eventually they welcomed their grandchildren Acacia, Arrick, and Keiran, whom they had so much love for. Bob retired in 2001 after 33 years with Air Canada Maintenance, where he rose from mechanic to management. Shortly after that he became a teacher with the Seven Oaks School Division at Maples Collegiate teaching aviation maintenance skills to high school students.
