It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our father Stan at the age of 73.
He will be deeply missed by his son Jason Wolkowski (Jennifer Dunik); daughters, Carla Allan (Patrick) and Stacie Shields (David); his grandchildren, Lucas and Vienna Wolkowski, Emmitt and Connor Allan, and Stellan Watson and Sami Shields; also by his sisters, Delores Beaudin (Orval) and Paulette Wolkowski; and the many close friends whose friendship he treasured, especially Donna Kosowski, Ron Laurin, and Marc Morin.
Stan was a long-time employee of the Hudson's Bay Company and he enjoyed travelling and fishing, and loved to chat about the Winnipeg Jets, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and his favourite sports team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Cancer Care, Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Manitoba, and MAID for their compassionate care throughout Stan’s journey.

Stan and I worked many years together at The Bay Downtown. HE always had great stories to share about his trips, fishing and his family. He loved his family.
