Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA MAY EIDSE
On Tuesday, October 17, Edna left us to join “her Tom”. She was predeceased by her husband Tom, son Robert and son-in-law Pat. Mother to Christina (Pat), Stewart (Liz), Elizabeth (Stan), Robert (Louise), David (Fay) and Donald (Linda), she was dearly loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In her younger years Edna and her sister Alita were awarded many medals for Highland dancing. As a young woman she worked as a civil servant in Ottawa and met "her Tom" while attending a dance. Tom played the violin and Edna the piano. They married in 1945, raised their family, and eventually settled in Richer, Manitoba. Together they enjoyed 53 years of dancing, music and marriage.
Please join us in celebrating her life at Green Acres Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to join virtually can access the livestream at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com

Through the years my Mom, who lived in Ottawa, Ontario, and Edna always stayed in contact by letters or telephone. Mom asked me to continue this after her passing. I looked forward to receiving Edna's letters and enjoyed our telephone calls. May she rest in peace. My sincere condolances to her family. - Posted by: Sharon (Sloan) Foran (Edna and my Mother, Eunice Thomas were first cousins.) on: Oct 22, 2023
