It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jocelyn Nicole Makar (nee Hleck) on the 18th of October, 2023 at the age of 42.
She will be lovingly remembered by her cherished husband, Kevin Makar, and their beautiful children, Riley Fischer, Kiera Makar and Justin Makar and his partner Megan Gerl; parents, John and Maureen (Tagg) Hleck; sister Amanda C. Hleck and niece Hailey Hiebert; in-laws, Dominique and Sherry (Dunning) Makar; sisters-in-law, Sharla (Vernon) and niece Venessa Sabiston and sister Theresa (Greg) Bax and their children, Jade and Dylan; as well she leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was loved by everyone.
Jocelyn was devoted to her family, friends, and puppies with a ready smile, a helpful hand and warm encouragement. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jocelyn’s life will take place at a later date.
