With deep sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife Merle, sons Michael (Cheryl), Colin, Richard (Brenda), Mark (Charlene), Brant (Corrina), and Dean (Tiffany), daughter Lana, brothers Sidney, Ron (Sandy), and Gordon (Shelagh), brother-in-law Jack, sisters-in-law Ina, Alice, and Shelia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, his parents Elizabeth and Peter, brothers James, Hunter, Stanley, William, Ian, and Alister, sister Mary and sisters-in-law Doreen and Isa.
We wish to thank the Gimli Betel staff for their care and comfort. They all have been amazing.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gimli and District Kiwanis Club.
