Following a very brief illness, we announce the peaceful passing of Suzanne while resting in the arms of her daughter on October 25, 2023, at Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes at the age of 99.
Suzanne will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children: Roger, Laurent (Sharen), Liliane (Denis Loiselle); grandchildren: André Loiselle (Irene), Janine Loiselle (Daniel Bosc); great-grandchildren: Isabelle and Benoît Bosc; along with special nieces and nephews. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband Joseph.
Suzanne was born on October 19, 1924, in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB and farmed for many years. Later she worked for the St. Boniface Hospital as the flower attendant, delivering bouquets of happiness to patients. One of her favourite activities was playing cards with friends and family. She even beat us at Cribbage as recently as one week before her passing. Suzanne had a special love for her family leaving us with cherished memories of one great lady.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
The family is extremely grateful for the excellent care she received at the Foyer the last three months. She had a great summer back in her home town. Special thanks to Dr. Desmond Van Jaarsveldt and his staff for their devoted care of Suzanne for over two decades.
