MADELEINE NOLETTE
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Madeleine Nolette, on October 26, 2023, at the age of 68.
She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Hélène, brother, Richard and father-in-law, Richard Nolette.
Madeleine leaves behind her husband of nearly 50 years, René, son, Denis, daughter-in-law, Julie, her granddaughter, Sara, brothers, Jacques (Susan) and Raymond (Madeleine), brother-in-law, Marc (Kathy), sisters-in-law, Rita and Alice, nieces and nephews, as well as many other loved ones and close friends whom she considered family.
Madeleine loved the Christmas season and ensured everyone attending her large gatherings had presents to open. Her home was often referred to as a Christmas Wonderland. She had a great gift with flowers and gardening; many events were beautified due to her talents. She also loved to spoil her granddaughter, Sara; and spent countless hours crafting, playing, and chasing her around.
Special thanks to the staff at Buhler Cancer Centre and Southern Health Palliative Care for their support on her cancer journey.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Sainte-Agathe Roman Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Dear Rene and Family, Our sincere condolences during this sad time for all. Our deepest apologies as we were not advised of your loss. Guy and I just found out today (Sunday). We have fond memories of Madeleine as your loving and supportive wife of almost 50 years. Unfortunately, as our parents grow older and are no longer able to help "keep those tight family bonds" - with extended family gatherings around a good meal and a game of cards, we lose touch. However, please know that we are sincerely saddened by your loss and that of your family. Madeleine's smile and kind words, even with our infrequent opportunity to get together, will always be present in our memories. Hugs to all and may your memories serve as a blessing to you. Rene please except my condolences for your loss of Madeleine. I know she will be greatly missed. I only meet her a couple of times but what I do remember is being at Big Whiteshell Lake fishing with Marc and being invited to your campsite for supper, what a spread, it was delicious. Madeleine also sent a tourtiere meat pie to Cliff Lake on another fishing trip and it was awesome, she also gave me the recipe. Chers René, Denis, Julie et Sara C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous disons adieu à notre grande amie Madeleine. Nous allons nous rappeller de son merveilleux sourire; son rire spontané; sa gaieté et joie de vivre; ses talents dans la cuisine et dans son jardin de fleurs; son amour pour sa famille et ses amis. Suzanne et moi entendons déja frère Richard te taquiner; voyons papa Raymond et maman Hélène qui ouvrent grand leur bras pour enfin t'accueuillir dans leur amour là oû reigne la paix et l'éternelle joie. Allons-nous te manquer? c'est sûr. Mais on est réconforté qu'un beau matin nous allons te revoir cette ravissante Madeleine et jusqu'a ce jour nous l'aurons toujours proche de nous.
