Anne Taylor passed away at Valleyview Personal Care Home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Anne was born November 23, 1933 in Justice, Manitoba, to parents Michael and Paulina Woronchuk. In 1934 the family moved to Brandon where Anne attended school at Central, David Livingstone, Earl Haig and finished high school at Brandon Collegiate. Throughout her career in the retail sector, Anne worked at the Met, Canada Grocers, spent seventeen years working at Woolco, and then Walmart. Anne married Doug Taylor in 1952 and together they had daughter Cheryl, and son Richard. They were also very proud and pleased to have granddaughter Zenith. Doug and Anne were active in the community including seventeen years spent teaching Sunday school at St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
In keeping with Anne’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations in Anne’s memory may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
