Peacefully on October 26, 2023 Rosemary Ida Gaffray passed away from a short battle with cancer at the age of 68 years in her hometown of Pine Falls, MB.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2023, at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave E., Beausejour, MB. Interment will follow at a later date.

Our hearts are broken with the passing of dear Rosemary. When she was adopted her parents, John and Irene Ruse were our neighbours on Riverton Ave. in Winnipeg. So began a lifelong friendship between us. Though their moving to Pine Falls in the 1960’s put distance between us, we always found joy in each other’s company when we visited. It has been a few months since last spoke, and you have been often on my mind. You never returned my voicemail and now I understand why, I was privileged to have Rosemary’s trust, to share in her joys and heartbreak and God knows she had many. Rosemary you were a loving friend of strong character and goodwill. Over the years our visits became few and far between but never our affection for her. Until we meet again dear friend.
