MARION SHEARER SCHULTZ
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marion Shearer Schultz, wife of Don Schultz, on Monday, November 6, 2023, after a short illness.
Marion was born in Winnipeg 96 years ago, on September 30, 1927 to John McMaster Smith and Louise Diamond King.
Marion had a loving heart which left a beacon of light for all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Donald Schultz, brother Ian Smith, daughters, Anne Barg (Carl), and Sandra Scott, daughter-in-law Donna Butterworth, stepdaughter Sandra Donato (Domenic), stepson Murray Schultz (Ronda), and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Amaral (Chris), Jamie Hazell, Kevin Barg (Lesley), Stephan Donato (Jennifer), Kyle Barg, Lorilee Kanski, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Grant Scott, her first husband Alexander Scott, sister Isabelle Saunders, brother David Smith, and granddaughter Dawn Doroschuck.
Marion was a member of Trinity United Church, and this was a big part of her life. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. held at Trinity United Church.
