Ellie Elizabeth Dueck (nee Wiebe), passed into the arms of her Saviour, Jesus Christ, peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023, at her residence. She was surrounded by her beloved husband Willy and two close friends.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband Willy, daughter Karen, son Terry (Carolyn); granddaughters, Shayla and Ceili; her stepsister Annie Braun of Ontario; sisters, Erna (Herb) Dyck of Coaldale, AB, Margaret Klassen of Vancouver, BC, Linda (Harv) Wiens of Abbotsford, BC; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and beloved friends. She was predeceased by her mother Maria Klassen, father Adolf Keller, stepfather Henry Klassen, and mother-in-law Maria Dueck.
The family would like to thank their many special friends from McIvor Church and beyond for their ongoing compassion and support in the past few years as Ellie suffered from vascular dementia and other health problems.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. Reception to follow immediately after the service. All are welcome.
