It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, Marjorie Kathleen Lange on November 19, 2023 at Riverview Health Centre, after a long 10 year battle with dementia.
Left to cherish Marge’s memory is her daughter Kim Fenstad (Andy), son Randy, grandson Edwyn, sisters-in-law, Gina Staples, Bernice Lange, brothers-in-law, Ken (Marilyn), Larry (Barb), Art and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Marge was predeceased by her loving husband Ed on November 19, 1999, her father William Staples, mother Kathleen Staples (Pynoo), stepfather Jules Pynoo, sister Fran Hrynchuk, brother-in-law Don Hrynchuk, brother Don Staples, daughter-in-law Stephanie Lange and unborn granddaughter Everley.
Mom and Dad were married on August 6, 1960. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage together. Mom was a devoted wife and mother, who, together with our dad built a loving home on Symington Road.
Mom loved to entertain in her home, was an amazing cook and loved baking. She was always excited when she got to go to a Jets game with Randy and looked forward to her regular Saturday outings with Kim. Mom bowled, curled and was a member of the Red Hats, Archwood Seniors and Seine River Seniors. She adored her grandson Edwyn who she was so proud of. He brightened her days and could always make her smile.
We would like to express our thanks to the staff at Riverview on AB and most recently C3 for their exceptional care of Marge over the past eight years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or AB floors of Riverview Health Centre.
A celebration of Marge’s life will be held on Saturday, December 9. 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
