It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband John Bartnik at the age of 89 years. He passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
John is survived by his wife Sally whom he was married to for 63 years; and his three sons: Colin, Bruce and Wayne (LeeAnne). He also leaves behind his five siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg.
