KEITH LALONDE

April 13, 1944 - November 21, 2023

Keith passed away suddenly and peacefully at home. He told God “I want to die in my sleep”. He did it his way, just as he lived his life.

He will be remembered for his sense of humour, connection with people and his gruff exterior with a heart of gold. He was larger than life and will be missed by many. He was most proud of his family and grateful for his friends.

He leaves behind his wife Karen, son Brad, grandson Ethan, daughter Michelle (Scott), grandchildren Paige, Brynn and Beck, brother-in-law Neil Birkett (Audrey), aunt Rosemarie Martz, cousins, Karen Leroux (Larry), Carl, Barb, Brenda, Patsy, Bob (Colleen) Martz and families, and a long list of close friends.

We find comfort knowing he is enjoying the biggest welcome home party with the people he loved and missed the most.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the the Oakbank Baptist Church, 26033 Springfield Road in OakBank on Saturday, December 9, at 11:00 a.m., with lunch to follow.

The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Keith’s memorial page at seasonsfunerals.com and clicking on the photos and video tab.

  • Karen and Family Please accept our sincere condolences Losing a spouse is an unimaginable pain Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we were to learn of Keith's sudden passing I first met Kieth when we worked together at the City of Winnipeg Pandora Shop in the 70's. We both had a passion for cars and over the years we developed a friendship I have fond memories of going to the Fifties and Bunking with Kieth. (most notable were the socks he wore that had the days of the week on the bottom) Kieth would often drop by for a visit to show us a new car that he had purchased the last being the Miata We lost touch over last years but always managed run in to each other or make a phone call He will be sadly missed by all who knew him - Posted by: Lou and Diane Asselin (friend) on: Nov 25, 2023
