It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, Ghislain Gerard Theriault of Vassar, MB., on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, MB.
Ghislain is survived by his loving wife Karen, his sons Jesse (Michelle), Keane (Betsy), his grandchildren Shaunti, Kayven, and Emma. He also leaves behind his brothers Normand (Nicole), Jean Claude (Claude), Laureat, Gille (Michelle), and Reginald, and sisters Janine, Francoise (Richard), and Madeleine.
Ghislain was predeceased by his mother Jeanette, father Alfred, brothers, Marcel, Jean Marie, Bertrand, Jeannot, and sister Marie Paul.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Vassar Sacred Heart Church, Vassar, MB. Reception to follow at Vassar Community Hall.
Ghislain's family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Bethesda Regional Heath Centre and the South East Regional support workers for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
