Lillian passed away November 26, 2023 at the age of 96 years.
She was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan near the farming communities of Tuffnell and Foam Lake, SK. She moved to Regina after she married her first husband, Bill Paseznak, and then to Winnipeg in 1968 where she began her career with Agriculture Canada. Lillian retired after 35 years of service and dedicated herself to her other passions – travelling and dancing. She continued those pastimes after Bill’s death and her marriage to Bill Sutherland. She was fortunate to have travelled the world and, as an excellent photographer, was keen to share photos of her memorable trips and talk about her adventures.
Lillian was predeceased by husbands, Bill Paseznak and Bill Sutherland. She leaves behind cousins, friends from near and far, and her special friend (“kid”) Jo-Anne.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Burial will take place in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan.

Lillian was a grand lady, with a wonderful sense of humour and a twinkle in her eye. I loved hearing her travel stories as she had been to basically all corners of the world. Whenever I was in Winnipeg, my sister Jo-Anne would include me on lunch outings with Lillian where we would catch up on the goings on in each of our lives.
