Roy Alexander Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
Left to mourn Roy’s passing is his wife, Katherine and sons, Gregory and Brent and grandson, Brandon as well as many nieces and nephews.
Roy was born on August 29, 1937 to Isabella and Fred Mitchell.
Roy lived in Douglas until he was 12 before moving to Brandon to complete his schooling. He then learned the trade of carpentry, working for many years at the trade. He last worked with Powell Concrete Finishers.
He is predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Lyle (Louelle), Ernest and William.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes a private family graveside was held.
Donations in memory of Roy may be made to a charity of your choice.
