ROBERT GLEN TORGERSON
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Bob Torgerson on November 24, 2023, at the age of 60, following a courageous six year battle against multiple myeloma cancer. Bob grew up in Winnipeg’s Wildwood Park, and will be lovingly remembered by friends and family, including parents Sharon and Glen Torgerson, sisters Kelly and Karen (Claude Saulnier), and cherished niece and nephew Joelle and Shaun Pouliot.
Bob has come full circle, having been born in the same hospital building where he passed away. He liked the symmetry of that.
Bob was infinitely impressed with the staff at the Health Science Centre and wonderful team at Manitoba Cancer Care. We join Bob in our gratitude to Dr. Emily Rimmer and Shauna Priebe.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held in the spring of 2024.

We were very saddened to just hear about Bob’s passing. We only met him in October just before we headed south for winter. He couldn’t have been more kind and considerate.
