LORI JUNE JOSEPH

November 24, 2023

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lori June Joseph, at 63 years, on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Lori will be missed by her husband of 38 years, Darryll; sons Stephen (Melissa), Michael (Breanne) and her absolute pride and joy, her precious grandsons Derek and Dylan. Also surviving Lori is her brother Glen (Dawn) of BC, as well as several others in her extended family.

Lori was predeceased by her parents Lawrence Freeth and June Freeth.

Lori was born and raised in St. Vital and was a lifelong resident; attending Norberry School and then Dakota Collegiate. Growing up, Lori was a Girl Guide and discovered her love of camping, canoeing and fishing.

After high school Lori worked at a local clothing and jean store, Bel Mar Clothing and later at the St. Vital Superstore. When her sons were born, Lori became a loving, stay at home mom.

As our family grew, summers would be spent at the trailer in St. Malo where mom loved telling the boys campfire stories and teaching them how to swim.

Our family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service, the doctors and nurses at HSC Emergency department, the High Observation Unit and finally the Women’s Hospital. The care and compassion that Lori and our family received is so very much appreciated.

Funeral Service for Lori will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg. Those who wish to join the service online can do so by following the livestream link https://fweb.tv/113136.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lori’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of your choice, and would be greatly appreciated.

Lor, Mom, Nana, you are so loved and will be greatly missed.
