It is with deep sorrow that we the family of John Tutt announce his sudden passing on November 22, 2023.
John was born July 12, 1944 in London, England. He immigrated to Canada in 1975, with Barb, his wife of 48 years.
He is survived by Barb and their two daughters, Laurene (Keith) and Melanie (Sam); and their three children Hadi, Mariam and Maya, who he loved dearly. He is also survived by his son Paul (Lisa) who reside in England.
John and Barb spent several years prior to their marriage in 1975, travelling and working in Europe, Australia and New Zealand and continued to enjoy their urge to travel whenever possible after being “married with children”.
John worked at the Health Sciences Centre from 1975 to his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed his work and the people he worked with.
John loved retirement, his home, his cottage and especially his family and friends. He loved his life.
We will miss him dearly.
A service and reception will take place at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West Saint Paul, MB at 2:00 p.m. on December 8, 2023.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.

I worked at HSC with John in the early 80’s. He was one of the funniest, kindest individuals I knew. I was in my early 20’s back then and John taught me many life lessons I carry with me to this day. I know how proud he was of his family and how much he loved his cottage life also. My sincere condolences to Barb and their children and extended family at this time - Posted by: brian mcwhirter (Friend ) on: Dec 04, 2023
