My condolences. I searched Jane in one of those 'where are they now' moments and found her passing. She was one of the bright spots of my years at HSC and the WRHA. - Posted by: Brad Edmondson (co-worker) on: Jan 21, 2024

My condolences to my old friend Andrew. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jane's passing. I've known Jane since Isaac Newton days through to social events in the later years. I always found Jane to be an intelligent, level headed, and caring person. I always made a effort to contact Andy and Jane every time I was in Winnipeg and managed to spend some quality time together. She will be missed by all that knew her. - Posted by: Dave Stonoga (Friend) on: Dec 14, 2023

My heartfelt condolences to Andrew, Frank, William and all of her beloved family. I have know Jane since our good ole" days at St.John's High School and then worked with her during her "Lab times" at HSC. We have remained friends for about 50 years and I will cherish the memories of our get together lunches and the wonderful times with our other Lab gal pals. I will truly miss Jane's keen wit, compassion, and her "unique" sense of humour. May we meet again my Friend. Soar now freely with the other Angels in Heaven... I am so sorry to hear of your loss Andrew. I don’t know if you remember Steve and I but you had us over for lunch a few years back. They worked together at HSC. It’s hard to imagine Jane being ill. Jane was always so cheery. She had a very beautiful smile. I. Looked forward to her stories Of her travels and art projects. I did Jane’s hair and we went on many cultural events. I’ll always have fond memories of our times together. Karin Peterson - Posted by: Karin (Friend) on: Dec 09, 2023

My Dear Jane, I have known you for over 50 years and so many of those years we had wonderful and memorable times together. Camping trips were special times for all of us especially at Birds Hill (with the girls), Rushing River, the Big Whiteshell, Jasper, and the Sleeping Giant in Ontario, trips to Las Vegas, Edmonton Mall, Grand Forks, Fargo, etc., good times were always our #1 priority. You were an excellent seamstress, knitter: mitts, sweaters especially a special Buffalo Wool Tundra Sweater (for Doug), and the woolen hats for premature babies. You were a gourmet cook, from an array of dishes, soups, but best of all fancy sandwiches in which we always cherished. Jane you were an achiever at work and received many recognitions as a Master of Science of Natural Resources. You were so fortunate to see the world and admired the various cultures. Jane, Thank you for teaching me to stand up for myself, to be independent, and to accomplish any task even if it didn't work out. Thank you for being a caring person to my family. You were always there when I needed you Jane. We love you and will miss you, until we meet again. To a great 50 years! Barbara and Doug Condolences to Andrew, Frank, & William, family. Our deepest sympathies to all. - Posted by: Barbara Palmer (Friend ) on: Dec 09, 2023
