MARJORIE JACOBSON
In the early morning of December 6, 2023, Marjorie (Marge) Jacobson, beloved mother and wife passed away peacefully at Middlechurch Home at the age of 90.
Predeceased by her husband, Leonard Jacobson; her parents, Henry and Mary Brown; her brother Norman Brown; and her nephew David Brown. She leaves behind her loving son, Mark and his wife, Johanna; along with many other cherished relatives and friends.
Marge was born at St. Boniface Hospital on August 7, 1933. She grew up in the north end of Winnipeg and after marrying Leonard, became a long - standing resident of Transcona.
Marge lived a full life and always had a smile on her face. She had a passion for travelling, reading and was an avid bowler in her days. She had a great sense of humour and a quick wit that will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons Street, Winnipeg.
Our sincerest thank you to the staff on N2 at Middlechurch Home for taking great care of Marge in her final months.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Marge’s memory are encouraged to make a donation to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.

My deepest sympathy to Mark & family. I meet you a couple of times when you were visiting your Mom at Prairie Landing and at St Boniface Hospital. Your Mom usually came to our Monday morning coffee, bingo, and our Christmas Dinners. She has been missed since she moved from Prairie Landing.
