ROBERT (RV) MARTIN

April 7, 1937 - December 4, 2023

On the morning of December 4, 2023 Bob Martin passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Neepawa Hospital at the age of 86.



Bob was born on April 7, 1937 in Neepawa and grew up in the Mentmore area attending school in Osprey and Neepawa High School.



After graduating, he worked a few jobs before settling in with Manitoba Hydro, where he worked for the next 37 years. Following retirement he started his own company Wolfdale Ent and then Pole Maintenance Plus, which he ran for the next 20 years.



Bob loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, hunting, horseback riding as well as restoring classic cars and carpentry. His shop was always a hub of activity with friends and family.



Bob was predeceased by his parents Bill and Irene Martin, as well as his brother Ron and nephew Rick.

Bob leaves behind his wife Elsie, son Mark (Trudy), daughter Cindy (Brad) and grandchildren Derek (Brittany), Riley (Jona), Tanner (Madison), Sara (Nick) great grandchildren Bentley, Aston and Nolan, Elsie’s daughter Jaclyn (Mark), and son Ryan (Lisa) as well as grandchildren Brody, Emma, Ally, Grayson and Andy. Our family would not be complete without including Randy (Leanna) Kyle, Bryn as well as Kelly (Joan) Penny and Turner.



The funeral service will be at The Neepawa Legion Saturday, December 16 at 1:30 p.m.
