It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Loewen on December 10, 2023, at the age of 94.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

A Christmas Angel Oh how quickly a year has passed Mom always at the helm or on top of the mast Her memories will stay in our hearts forever For she was strong minded as failure was a never She was our Saturday cleaning Queen With elegance and speed, just like Thomas Steen Werner Weise may have been a bully and a bad boy But Mom with her iron fist handled him like a toy Mennonite pancakes were always a favorite treat But the best of all were the Faumen Taschen – oh so sweet Mom was always a hard worker, never at rest All that knew her, know she was the best Her Napoleon Torte was hands down number one We all would dive into it and ate a ton Mom is now an Angel among us Forever strong, just like a building truss May Mom enjoy watching the family at Christmas this year As we all know that family togetherness has a special joy and one small tear Merry Christmas Mom!
