We are sad to announce the passing of Jim Lowe on December 11, 2023 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.

Dear Marilyn, I just learned of Jim’s passing from Rae Bradshaw and I wish to convey my sincere condolences. On the several occasions that our paths crossed at RRC I found Jim to be a friendly and empathic individual, a person you could talk to who listened to your concerns. In my mind he was a “class act”. Katie and Marilyn and the rest of the family. I am terribly sorry to hear about the loss of Jim. I will always remember chatting with him about the beautiful back yard. It has been quite a few years since I had seen him, but everytime I drove past the house I would think of the many memories being at the house and chatting with him. He loved that yard and you could always tell he was VERY proud of it. Sorry again.
