NYKOLA (NICK) KOSOWAN

September 1, 1932 –

December 15, 2023

Nick passed away in his sleep while being cared for at St. Boniface Hospital.



To cherish his memory he is survived by his wife of 70 years Lorraine, son Rick (Laurene), grandson Kevin (Leanne), great granddaughters Taylor and Avery; along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and 11 brothers and sisters.



Nick worked as a carman at CNR for over 34 years. Nick loved hunting, fishing, and spending his time at his cottage in Lac du Bonnet. He had a keen interest in his many tanks of tropical fish. He had a green thumb, growing large vegetable gardens and beautiful flowers and plants. Dad loved his Tim Hortons coffee and the variety of sweets Laurene would bake for him.



Our family would like to thank all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital ICU and 6E for their car and compassion while caring for Nick.



Dad, you were a man of great integrity and principles. You would help anyone in their time of need. We will all miss you dearly.



In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow.
