After a long and rewarding life with many successes, Ted Good, age 99, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Fairview Home.
Ted will be lovingly remembered by daughters Bonnie Owens and Judy Hockney, daughter-in-law Laraine Good; grandchildren Kim (Dave) Mills, Shauna (Will) Owens-Krahn, Tracy Good, Laurie Good, Richard (Sarah) Hockney, Pamela Hockney and eight great grandchildren.
Ted was predeceased by his wife Pam and son Bill.
A Celebration of Ted’s Life will take place in the spring. Complete obituary and service information will follow at that time.
Donations in memory of Ted may be made to The Salvation Army, 9 Princess Ave East, Brandon, MB R7A 1R8, or a charity of your choice.
Thank you to the staff at Fairview Personal Care Home who treated him like gold.

During my high school years in the 1960s, I had the good fortune to be a member of Ted’s sea cadet band. Widely recognized as the best sea cadet band in Canada, we shared many memorable excursions highlighted by playing twice daily concerts at Expo 67 in Montreal. None of this would have happened but for the extraordinary ability of Ted to inspire young people and to make us proud to be part of his band.
