It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Ted Andrew Wozny. Ted passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the age of 85.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 269 Jemima Street, Selkirk, MB, with Father Gerald Langevin officiating. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. The Mass will be livestreamed and a link will be available on his obituary at www.gibartfuneralhome.com

I was very saddened to hear about Ted's passing.Ted was the Fire Officer at SMHC for many years and always took his responsibilities very seriously.using inservice gatherings, outdoors hands-on training to staff,surprise inspections anytime of the day or night and oversaw the evacuation exercise at the Rec. Hall. He was the life of the party at our Christmas gift exchange program and always made it so much fun.We will miss your wonderful personality Ted. My sincerest condolences to all his family. Joan and family, Sheila and my heartfelt condolences on Teds passing. I certainly enjoyed all my time with Ted in the fire service and he mentored me and others on our way through the ranks as we developed. He has had a huge impact on SFD on us moving into the future and his ongoing interest in the history of the department is remarkable.
