GORDON JOHN HRECHKA

January 19, 1956 - December 31, 2023

Born January 19, 1956 to John and Mae Hrechka (nee Kyaschuk) at the Ethelbert General Hospital.

Survived by his wonderful wife Natalie of 35 years; daughters Elizabeth (Haris) Bhugwandeen, Jeanelle (Brett) Hassard, grandsons Grayson and Carter; Sarah (fiancé Jeremy Ryan) granddaughter Miya; mother Mae Hrechka; mother-in-law Madeleine Makar and sister Roseanne (Mark Dudeck) nephews Dustin Lepitre (Bridgette), grand-niece Korrie, niece Candance Lepitre.

Gordon was predeceased by both grandparents Phillip and Domka Hrechka, Dymetro and Mary Kyaschuk and his father John Hrechka and father-in-law Thomas Makar, niece Lonie Rose Kereluik.

His passion in life was his family. He worked countless hours providing and improving their lives. He enjoyed driving bus, fishing with his grandson and sons-in-law as well as with his wife and daughters. In the winter it was snowmobiling and plowing snow. He loved to help out his friends. He never had a second thought in doing so. Life was good with friends and fish fries at the lake.

He always tried to make time for his grandchildren to teach them his ideal of family so they can grow up knowing what family means.

To his Brandon Bus Lines family, he would want them to know he appreciated all of you and would like to thank them for their dedication.

Gordon passed away with family by his side.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Reading Hall, Brandon, MB.
