Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARMELLE LOUISE EVOY
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Armelle Louise Evoy on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was predeceased by her father Dr. George Evoy in 1961, her mother Louise Speetjens Evoy in 1981, and her brother Noël in 2007. Armelle, the youngest of two children, was born on September 28, 1953.
Armelle retired from the Canada Border Services Agency after 34 years of service as a Customs Officer. In retirement, she was actively involved with the Anglican Church ministry support team. She had many interests from tending to her flowers, reading and weekly aquafit classes. Armelle so enjoyed the theatre, movies and had a special place in her heart for the monarchy.
Her love for travel began at a very young age, fostered by many transatlantic crossings with her mother and brother. This love for travel continued throughout her life.
Armelle’s kindness and generosity made her the special person she was.

My husband, Henry Wiechern, was a dear friend of Armelle's long before I met him. We spent many summer getaways with Armelle at Hostess Island hosted by Robert Skinner. She was a generous, loving, loyal friend. You are sharing a bottle of wine with Henry and Robert now. - Posted by: Cheryl Wiechern (Friend) on: Jan 11, 2024

Dear family sending prayers and comforting hugs on the early passing of Armelle. We go back for 40 years and I would enjoy her sharing all her worldly travels as I prepared her income tax. Rip. My friend. Jan Rochelle - Posted by: Jan Rochelle (Tax lady) on: Jan 06, 2024

A wonderful lady who I had the pleasure of knowing and working with for many years both during her career with Canada Customs, and before that when she worked at the Cara duty free shop at Winnipeg Airport. Always gentle, caring and kind towards her co-workers and the travelling public. She will be fondly remembered by the Canadian and the US pre-clearence officers who worked with her. - Posted by: HARRY TROCHE (Co-worker) on: Jan 06, 2024
