SUSAN DYCK
With heavy hearts yet with the joy of knowing that she is at peace, the family shares the news that our step-mother Susan passed away peacefully the evening of December 22 , 2023 at Calvary Place PCH, one month short of her 102nd birthday.
Susan is survived by her three step-children, Henry Dyck, Linda Dyck (Selwyn Bullock), and Helen Law (Brian) and step-granddaughter Janelle Dabisza (Rob). Also left to mourn are her brother Pete Giesbrecht (Anne), sisters, Nettie Voth and Hilda Dueck (John) and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Cornelia Giesbrecht, her brothers, Abe and Gordon Giesbrecht and sisters, Mary and Nora Giesbrecht. She was also predeceased by her husband Pete Dyck.
The family is grateful to all the staff at Calvary Place for their loving care given to Susan over the last four years. We also want to thank Marjorie Sawatzky for her monthly visits.
The funeral service for Susan will be held on January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford St.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Calvary Place Personal Care Home or a charity of your choice.
